SCPC No. 2 rests at Snoqualmie Depot after successful, if eventful, completion of a charter trip following the first day of scheduled passenger service behind a steam engine since the 1920s. Just minutes before this scene was captured, the steamer's crew was forced to dump the air at a crossing just east of the depot to narrowly avoid colliding with a minivan that blatantly ignored the bright headlight and piercing whistle. |
