Remarks & Notes |
Preparing to make the shove move back into the yard is CSX Y192-16 with a GP38-2S, and a HLCX GP40-2. Today's modern way of yard switching is RCO, a one man operator on the ground controlling the train with a belt pack control. Now these day most railroad has a few motor that has a computer receiver installed that makes the head motor operates from a belt pack. Other like this shoving platform with the receiver can be link up to any type of motor that is available for yard jobs without using a motor that is specifically use for RCO. |
