On a chilly winter morning, K153 and K190 shunt a rake of passenger cars in Maldon yard, preparing for a day of special train running on the Victorian Goldfields Railway. Both locomotives belong to Steamrail Victoria; K190 had been on loan to the VGR since October last year, while K153 had come up from Melbourne on a rake of sleeping cars the previous night. The next day, both locos would double head back down the main line to Melbourne.
