| CN 8800 heads train 843-52 west along the Thompson River, exiting the tunnel at MP 51.5 near Ashcroft, BC and rolling toward Black Canyon. CP tracks are across the river, and shared track for directional operation will begin a few miles west at Basque. Lead unit doors are open in 111 degree heat. |
