I had been hoping for a train with east-facing locomotives - which, at Jack London Square, are quite hard to come by - to try this shot, so when I saw an eastbound UP train in the distance, I thought, "great!" thinking it was just a freight train.
About split second after clicking the shutter here, I realized that, in fact, it was an office-car special! Had I paid a little more attention before, I might have positioned myself for an angle that showed off a bit more of the train... but oh well.
