| A single car train kicks up a little dust as it cruises at track speed (25 mph) by the old abandoned Helmetta Snuff factory. Construction work is being done here. A worker in orange is off to the far left and another worker in white is off in the distance to the right. It has been reported on this site that this structure was on "borrowed time", however, a closer look reveals that it has received new windows (see here for older photo). It's a Friday and this early afternoon train could be headed to either Freehold or the Hightstown Industrial Track. The single covered hopper provided an indication that it was headed for Hightstown. Shucks! I was hoping for Freehold. So goes railfanning... |
