During my venture away from the east coast, I stumble upon two light engines going to pick up some cars at BNSF's yard in Wichita. Knowing I had time to setup, I was in no hurry to get set up and be prepared for the shot. I was a bit surprised to see the crew only snatch one of the at least 10 identical lumber cars there, and even more surprised to see them grab an Ex BN caboose! Not to mention the Ex ATSF leader! The train will pull out of the yard and back down the mainline over a mile, switch the lumber facility and return to the yard and drop the caboose and car, then continue switching.
