| After spotting a cut of sand hoppers at the north end of the sand plant, the pair of 38's come to the south end of the plant to gather a small cut of cars to take back to Cadillac. This plant used to be the largest customer on the railroad but has slowed down over the years due to Ford in Cleveland no longer using sand for their molds. It gained another life a few years later with the Frac sand taking off but they lost their certification a couple years ago and are now trying to get it back. With any luck this will be a major customer again! |
