| This could very well have been the last working of the Blue Train to Durban with Class 18E locomotives hauling it, following official word that Transnet are to dedicate two of the new Class 20E locomotives (20 031 / 20 032) for Blue Train service (locomotives currently being put into Blue Train livery at Koedoespoort in Pretoria). After a quick weekend visit to the east coast city of Durban, 18-802 / 18-807 are seen winding their way through the rural hills of the Shongweni / Cliffdale area on their return journey to Pretoria with the Blue Train, as two young local goat herders sit trackside. |
