E1394 is the last remaining working Class 6E1 locomotive in Durban and her future remains uncertain at this time. She is pictured here on her return to the yard in Durban from CTE (Commuter Transport Engineering) in Masons Mill, Pietermaritzburg, with a few refurbished Metrorail motor coaches and trailers. The 5M2A motor coach directly behind E1394 looked fantastic!
