Canadian Pacific Railway launched their 2014 United States portion of the Holiday Train on November 26, departing Montreal, Quebec for Scranton, Pennsylvania. With a Nor'easter snow storm impacting portions of New York with snowfall, the train looked right at home for the holiday season. CP GP20C-ECO 2249 is seen leading the train off of Rogers Island and across the Hudson River at Fort Edward at 04:26 am on November 27.
A continuously growing album of photos that IMHO reveal the awesome and seldom-seen beauty of the railroad world from the dimming of day to dawn's early light! From dusk to dawn, trains roll on! (I'm still finding gems of sunset-to-sunrise surprises!)
