Remarks & Notes |
Led by a pair of evolution series GE units, southbound loaded taconite pellet train U-KEEMAD splits the signals at MP 168.0X Saluda on the BNSF's single-tracked Brookfield Subdivision. This train originates at Keewatin Taconite (USS) in Minnesota where the train is loaded with freshly mined pellets of taconite and is destined for the Granite City Steel Works facility in Granite City, IL, near St. Louis. Note the old railroad code-line poles that line the east side of the tracks. |
