| The engineer of 302 watches his train shove back into 6 as he stands in the now wide open space offered by the removal of the yard’s caboose tracks. Just a year ago, this spot was occupied by tracks that were once used to inspect and clean cabooses during their heyday but as they became extinct so did the usefulness of this area.
