I only had one brief encounter with the Bangor and Aroostook. I was in the area to attend a college football game, and a friend and I went to Northern Maine Junction after the game. The office was open, and the accommodating folks there provided us with a releases for the weekend. The weather was abysmal, so we returned the next morning before heading home. The pouring rain had stopped, but it was still very wet. Most of the power in the roundhouse area was stored and under tarps, but one BL2 was active. BAR 54 is ready and waiting to continue performing the same duties that it has been doing for over thirty years,
