| DFT 7092 heads north to Whangarei with empty log train 125. The 200km North Auckland Line passes through 13 tunnels and is rustic and scenic. Sadly it is under threat of closure due to light traffic and high costs. The first four tunnels are about 120 years old and restrict use of hi-cube containers without special wagons. |
