As the final minutes of sun shine into the Kootenai River Valley east of Bonners Ferry, Idaho, an eastbound manifest is crossing the meadow at Crossport at the west end of the scenic Kootenai River Gorge that this train will follow well into Montana. The Selkirk Mountains dominate the background.
