A Mineral Range train of empty covered gondolas is being shoved into Lundin Mining's copper/nickel processing plant at Humboldt. A portion of this plant was originally used to process iron ore until being shuttered in the early 1980s. Mineral Range rebuilt a portion of an LS&I line to serve the revived facility. ILS 1345 began life as Great Northern GP7 618. |
