| The "trash train" takes the siding at Kumis for a meet with NS 129 during the westward leg of their turn between Roanoke and Bradshaw. NS V60 is about the only thing you'll see heading west over this portion of the former Virginian, but it normally runs after dark. I'm not sure of the reason behind this afternoon run back in February 1998, or why they had no trash gons this day. Perhaps it was some kind of special move... |
