Between January and April of 2014, Norfolk Southern was forced to detour intermodal trains coming into and out of Morrisville, PA on select weekends as trackwork was taking place on Septa's main, shutting down all operations for the weekends. These trains offered a rare opportunity to see trains double stack trains running "push pull" on the NS Lehigh Line and CSX Trenton Subdivision. The power was organized in this fashion so an NS crew could take the train to Port Reading Junction where a CSX crew would then hop on the power on the rear of the train. The CSX crew would then bring the train to Woodbourne, PA where the train would diverge back on Norfolk Southern for the remainder of the journey. Here we see NS 24K with a CSX crew on board as the train comes through Manville yard, thus beginning its trip on the CSX Trenton Sub.
