On its way to UP Armourdale Yard, NS Train 297, a daily autorack move, waits at 23rd Street for UP Train MNLKC 16 to come off the KCT East-West Corridor onto the North-South Corridor. The Union Pacific move is headed for The Incline and home rails for the last couple miles into UP Neff Yard. BNSF Train B SBDLPK1 15A is also waiting for them to pass after doubling their train into KCT Kemper Yard Track 803 and 804 before coming out light power for BNSF Argentine Yard.
Despite the cold and the substantial first snow of the winter, the switch heaters are doing their job, and Kansas City Terminal Railway Dispatchers and BNSF Engineering and Signal Department Employees keep everybody's trains moving.
