CNW train 408 headed up by class SD40-2 No. 6801 holds at Altoona Jct., the end of double track through the Eau Claire-Altoona, Wis. terminal area. After meeting a westbound freight, 408 will continue east on its Superior, Wis. to Chicago run. Today's train will be racing to stay ahead of threatening weather.
