CNW train 408 from Duluth to Chicago passes by the Merrillan, Wis. depot and is about to cross the Green Bay & Western diamond.At this time, CNW also had a junction with their line to Marshfield, Wausau and Green Bay here. Trains 471 and 472 ran that route, but would soon be changed to run the mainline to Clyman Jct., then up to North Fond du Lac. A CNW trainmaster keeps an eye on things as the train passes.
