Remarks & Notes 
Supporting the main line just outside the west portal of Mount Macdonald Tunnel on Canadian Pacific’s newest route over British Columbia’s Roger Pass is this CP Rail concrete tie made in 1985. The tunnel and new Macdonald track were built from 1984-1988 to ease CP’s westbound ruling grade.
