| Soo 4416 and CP 2228 are parked in the Hastings rail yard for the weekend. They will be taking MOW equipment to its next destination in the near future. This picture was taken just after midnight, but a nearly full moon renders the sky a striking blue.
Behind the train are hoppers waiting to be picked up later in the morning. A mixed westbound train is moving behind the hoppers.
Correction: 4416 and 2228 have stayed to work in the Hastings yard. I spotted the two engines that had been assigned to the yard hauling the MOW equipment towards St. Paul on 4 February. |
