The Ivy City facility in Washington DC is owned by Amtrak, but is also used by the Maryland Area Regional Commuter system, better known as MARC. Amtrak retired their last Bombardier-Alstom HHP-8 in November 2014, but MARC has not yet been able to retire theirs. On January 22nd, 2015, MARC 4914 was found in the Ivy City facility getting serviced before the afternoon rush. Photographed on railroad property with permission and full PPE.
