Ohio South Central Geeps #104 and #2153 move loads east through Byer Tunnel along former B&O trackage. This was once the hustling and bustling "St. Louis Line" that snaked through the hills of southeast Ohio and passed famous places such as the Moonville tunnel. Today, the City of Jackson, Ohio owns the line and the Ohio South Central operates it. Parts of the line look like the typical short line railroad, however others look like a B&O passenger train with E or F units could come roaring by at track speed any second. Note the super-elevated curves that once handled 60 MPH traffic on the line. Taken 2/17/2015, Ray, Ohio. PMP.
