Oh, what could have been. OmniTrax painted a pair of GP50s in this attractive scheme, and left many of us hoping the NKCR and other OmniTrax roads would receive local or corporate paint schemes. Alas, paint does not equate to profits, and the 5102 you see here is not the norm for the NKCR. Drab black ex LTE lease units are the norm, along with runthrough BNSF power on grain trains on the east end of the system.
