Remarks & Notes |
Mother Nature has taken grip of the Northeast! A crude oil train that was bound for the Port of Albany which would offload and be barged to N.B. Canada was detoured to Pam Am due to severe icing on the Hudson River has met another blow from Mother Nature as a blizzard has set in with yet another storm to the New England area (one every 3 days or so and all bringing a foot or more of snow and cold). The air temp is 5 above with wind chills of 20-30 below zero as the winds blew all day from 30-50 mph kicking up snow to near whiteout conditions as seen taking place in this photo. The Amtrack Downeaster service from Portland to Boston was cancelled due to the storms also which would travel this line. The snow needs to stop, lol. |
