| For a week or two this past October NECR was running daylight freights on the Roxbury sub, giving me a glimmer of hope that regularly seeing a train would become a normal occurrence; unfortunately, the schedule didn't last. One such freight is seen on its southbound journey coasting downgrade away from the summit of the railroad approaching the small town of East Granville.
