| With the sounds of F16's from the 354th Fighter Wing based at the Eielson AF base buzzing the air above the once a week daylight local to Eielson has dropped their cut of loaded coal cars off on the base, and now returns back to Fairbanks with empties. The railroad runs out to the base several times a week but normally it is a nocturnal run. But on Thursdays the railroad will run a daylight job normally with just a cut of coal cars to the base and back. |
