KXHR 2242 sits on the Ready Mix Concrete spur, near their interchange with CSX's West Knoxville yard. The windows had been boarded up, and there were "Do Not Occupy" decals on the door, almost as-if the railroad was using it as a "B" unit. However, it appears that at some time after this, the boards were removed, and the unit put back into regular service. Also of note was that lettering for "Conecuh Valley R.R." could be seen on the cab under a thin layer of black meant to hide the name of what, I assume, is the unit's former owner. Photo taken from a public park adjacent to the tracks.
