| Most of the time the strong Ge 4/4 locomotives are used in freight services. However there is one workdaily passenger train hauled by these machines - the first train in the morning. Occasionally the locos are used in special trains, like on this occasion. Taken on a photo special the Ge 4/4 #22 is posing as its best with a long 5 car train in front of the beautiful castle Vufflens-le-Château.
The loco itself is from the same series as the Rhätische Bahn Ge 4/4 III series and the Montreux Oberland Bernois (MOB) Ge 4/4 8000 series. |
