A METRA F40PH-2, No. 150, lays over after the morning rush on track just north of east sheds of the Ogilvie Transportation Center, formerly known as the C&NW station.
The large apartment complex overlooking the tracks undoubtedly was a warehouse for most of it's life. I suspect my father would still recognize it in spite of the change. That's because for the summer of 1918, Dad was a chef's helper on the C&NW and he was here, in this space, many, many times. It was nice to visit Pop!
