Remarks & Notes |
A 'Millenium' caboose in bad shape. CN 79834 is seen stopped in Vankleek Hill on the obscure CN Vankleek Spur. This caboose was built by CN in their Pointe St-Charles shop in Montreal under the same number. CN sold it to the Ontario L'Orignal Railway (OLOR) in 1996, which was taken over by the Ottawa Central Railway. The OLOR named it 'Millenium' for reasons unknown to me. In 2008 CN took over the Ottawa Central and renumbered the caboose back to its CN number. It is used for backup moves on the L'Orignal Spur and is not in good shape. |
