Remarks & Notes
The iconic Union Pacific shield and green marker lights greet you when looking into the face of a UP Big Boy. This behemoth steam engine measures 132 feet in length, weighs 1,250,000 lbs and puts out over 135,000 lbf of tractive effort. Seeing this gigantic steam engine up close in static display is amazing, but hopefully seeing it back in operation thanks to UP will be nothing short of breathtaking.
