Remarks & Notes |
Union Pacific SD70ACe no. 8551 leads two SD70M's around the sweeping curve just east of Milliken, Colo., at a location called Dent with the Fort Collins Local. The train will slow for the wye up ahead where the train will wrap around the north leg going from a southward to a northwest direction. Dent is the location where UP's Fort Collins Subdivision and old Dent Branch meet at. The Dent Branch continued in a south, southwest direction not too far from the South Platte River. The branch went through the city of Frederick and Dacono before meeting up with the Erie branch from Boulder at a junction called St Vrains. Both lines then split off to either Brighton or Sand Creek Jct in Denver. |
