| After doing a little bit of college touring at Rochester Institute of Technology, I had made time to visit the Rochester & Genesee Valley Railroad Museum. One will notice the EMD control stand in this RS-3, making it an RS-3m. Known as a 'Hammerhead" due to the short hood needing to be raised to accommodate dynamic brakes and a steam generator, this unit has quite a history.
