Passing a switch point indicator. CN 327 is passing a switch point indicator that I believe indicates over the radio whether the switch is lined for the main or the diverging route. CN 327 has CN 2428, CN 5643, CN 2230 for power and he is heading south after having to wait for the nearby Larocque bridge to lower after opening for a boat on the Beauharnois canal. He is heading to Huntingdon, Qc where a CSXT crew will take this train to Massena, NY and the CN crew will bring CN 326 to Montreal.
A collection of photos of the trains and operations on the former Conrail Montreal Secondary, Now CSX's St. Lawrence and Montreal Subdivisions between Syracuse, New York and Montreal, Quebec.
