Exhibiting just about every known form of sheet metal deterioration, 573 works the south end of Chester Yard along Court Street. Many of the structures of the West Point's main shop complex still stand beyond the coaling tower, but they've been closed for years, with all work moved to the Georgia Railroad's Atlanta shop.
