GP 30 3031 & GP9 6062 rumbles toward Shelby. This picture brings back fond memories for me as I lived in a apartment building behind the Coleman's ma and paw store. Many a times, I would lay in my bed, and listen to the train horns blowing through town and the shaking of my bed as they rumbled by. There were banging of cars, as a train engine throttled up or down and shoved or pulled the coal cars from the truck mine tipples on the south end of town. Great times
