| Under the label Golden Pass the connection Montreux - Zweisimmen - Interlaken - Lucerne is advertised. This connection is made by three different companies and the trains run on two different gauges.
The part from Zweisimmen to Interlaken is part of the standard gauge system of the BLS Loetschbergbahn. Currently there are two RBDe 565 trainsets used here for the Golden Pass trains. Here we see one of these trains on a beautiful summer morning passing the church of Boltigen and heading through the Simmental valley towards Spiez. |
