41 Diesel shunting engines Em 3/3 were built for Swiss Railways in the early 60's, but many are withdrawn by now and replaced by modern locomotives. However, Main Railway Workshop in Bellinzona bought two engines for their own shunting, giving them also a new and brighter look.
Em 3/3 18808 was used several weeks at the workshop in Olten, for example for shunting doubledecker coaches from S-Bahn Zürich.
