Remarks & Notes
The last log train highballs Dayton during a special move to and from the Dry Sort yard with the purpose of retrieving remaining rolling stock which had been stranded since the end of 2013 after the mainline had been embargoed out of Shelton to the log trains. There would be one more final round trip in the afternoon to fetch a string of Center beam lumber cars, after which the sound of the black, red and white switchers' five chimes would fade, never again to be heard at Dayton. For both trips the railroad's retired caboose was used to haul company heads along for the ride.
