VIA 76, a Toronto - Sarnia passenger train approaches the newly established Etobicoke North GO Station on the north side of the tracks. The station used to stand on the south side of the tracks, and the old station depot still stands with dust covering. With the opening of the Union Pearson Express, which opened the day of the photograph, the station had to be transferred over to the north side of the tracks since the UPX would use the 2 south tracks, as the spur to the destination to Pearson Airport is about a mile down the tracks and crossing over with plenty of GO Trains and other rail transport will be quite challenging and will cause plenty of delays.
