| On Father's Day of 2015, a small recreation of the famous California Zephyr traveled from Sacramento to Portola and back. This train allowed passengers to view the rarely traveled Feather River Canyon. A series of delays put the train a couple hours behind schedule, but luckily June 21st was the longest day of the year. Just after meeting an eastbound rail train, the "Baby Zephyr" passes the west end of the Spring Garden Siding. A couple of endangered searchlight signals stand nearby. |
