Remarks & Notes 
After checking out the old GM&O Tri-Light signals slated for replacement in Auburn, I remembered that the Texas Eagle was a thing. So I raced home, grabbed my camera and frantically settled on the shot with minutes to spare. Actually that's not true. I should have counted on something holding the train up, and that something was the NS at Hazel Dell on the south side of Springfield. Anyways, Amtrak 21, the southbound Texas Eagle roars past a seemingly ancient irrigation system during golden hour.
