The east side of Jinpeng pass tends to be drier with whatver snow there is being blown away by the ever-blowing wind. Nonetheless, the cold crisp winter air yielded some wonderful steam vapor shots, including this one of a pair of QJ's just passing the semaphores for Liudigou. Semaphores and steam on a railway built in the 1990s!
