The 27th of September, 2014 found me in Cumberland, Maryland for the annual Railroad Days event at the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad. In between the daytime celebration, and the night photo shoot put on by Chase Gunnoe and friends, I ventured out to grab some shots of former Baltimore and Ohio Color Position Lights courtesy of some direction from some locals train buffs. There directions lead me to iconic Mexico tower on the southeastern end of the CSX Cumberland Yard. Fortunately for me, the light was good, and I caught two trains, one of which was this ballast train led by a SD45 carbody CEFX SD40M-2.
