| The dust being kicked up by the 1540 gives an example of just how fast the Watermelon Express is moving through the small town of Leslie. Not only is this small town on the former SAL route home to less than 500, but it’s also where one will find the Georgia Rural Telephone Museum which houses numerous examples of telecommunications. Exhibits range from what we use here in the 21st Century to examples of what was used way back in 1876! |
