To be a child again... LaGrange, KY provides a moment of excitement, wonderment, and joy for this child in his fathers arms. A family photo shoot in the nearby park cut short when the child excitedly announced to his parents "TRAIN!" LaGrange is one of few places where a child can experience such enchantment to machines of wonder so up close. With the line running through the heart of town the roadway becomes a boardwalk of daydreams for the young, and young at heart. Most of us have many things that excite us at such a young age, but all too many outgrow such silly obsessions as the world takes its toll on our imaginations and dreams. Some are lucky, we harbor a love from our childhood and refuse to let it go. We still get excited at things others see as a nuisance, we see the majesty of machines built and ran by hard working men. We wonder where it's going, where it came from, and what all will be seen by the silhouettes in the cab we will never ride in... Here's to all who still keep at least a bit of that child inside, may you always do so.
